When you BOOK DIRECT you are guaranteed to get the best price. Many online travel sites charge extra “taxes and service fees” for online bookings. We don’t. You can feel confident knowing that when you make a reservation, you will receive the lowest publicly available rate. If you do find a lower published rate for the same dates and room type, we will beat that rate by 10%!


By booking directly with us, you can speak with someone who works directly at the property. You can be assured that your reservation will be made exactly as you planned it. You will find that our web site is more complete and our reservationists are much more knowledgeable about the hotel and surrounding area. We can suggest things to do, customize packages for you, and accommodate special requests


Since there is not a third party involved, it is easier to cancel or make changes to your reservations. We don’t charge fees or service charges for modifying or changing your reservation. We never charge fees for cancellations if there are dangerous travel conditions or sudden illness.


If you have a question about a rate you found on another website for the same dates and room type, give us a call so we can verify your information, and we will beat that rate by 10%.

  • If you find and advise Bayside Resort Hotel of a lower, published, available room rate for the same hotel and accommodations, for the same room type and bed type, and for the same dates and number of guests (the “Competing Rate”), we will match or beat the Competing Rate by 10%.
  • Booking must be made through Bayside Resort Hotel online reservations system or through our reservations department 800-243-1114.
  • Guarantee does not include web sites or rates where the hotel brand and specific hotel are not known until the booking is made. ie Hotwire
  • Guarantee does not apply to websites where the reservation is non-refundable.
  • In the event of a multiple night stay, the Lowest Rate Guarantee will compare the total room cost of the stay as booked at the Bayside Resort Hotel Rate with the total room cost of the stay booked at a Competing Rate with substantially similar Rate Limitations.
  • The Lowest Rate Guarantee does not apply to unpublished rates. Unpublished rates include member only rates, private rates, packaged rates, rates involving a prepaid voucher program, hotel rooms sold as part of a travel package, and rates not available to the general public. Rates not available to the general public include corporate discount rates, group rates, meeting rates, any rates requiring membership in a club such as AAA rates or AARP rates, affinity program, or other organization where the rates are targeted specifically toward a specific group of individuals and not intended for the general public.
  • Bayside Resort Hotel Lowest Rate Guarantee cannot be combined with other offers or promotions. Void where prohibited by law. Bayside Resort Hotel reserves the right to amend, revise, supplement, suspend or discontinue the Lowest Rate Guarantee at anytime in its sole discretion and without prior notice.
  • The Lowest Rate Guarantee does not apply to taxes, gratuities, or any additional resort or guest charges or fees that may apply at the Bayside Resort Hotel.

  • Availability of the Competing Rate and availability must be verified by a Bayside Reservationist at the time of the call. In some cases we may need to verify off line and return your call with a determination.
  • Bayside Resort Hotel has the sole right and discretion to determine the validity of any claim, including, but not limited to, determining that it is for the same hotel, room type, dates, and that it meets all Terms, Conditions, and Claims Processing requirements.
  • A claim must be at least 72 hours before scheduled arrival. If the original reservation was made within 72 hours of arrival, the Lowest Rate Guarantee is not applicable. An original reservation refers to the initial reservation made through a Bayside Resort Hotel – branded web site or reservations department and does not include modified or cancelled reservations.  In some cases cancellation fees may apply.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we want to do our part to help keep our community and our employees safe.  We are following all of the local and federal recommendations and guidelines. We have made the following adjustments to our business practices and offerings to keep all of our guests safe. We will continue to make changes and adjustments to provide the best guest experience as we move foward.

What to expect during your stay...

Low Contact Check-In / Check-Out – There is no need to sign any documents, simply come to the desk to slide your card and pick up your keycards. At check-out, let us know when you’re leaving, leave your keys in your room, and we’ll email you a receipt.

No Daily Housekeeping – Please call the Front Desk with requests, and items will be delivered to your room. Please let us know if you need any employee assistance.

Breakfast – We offer a limited take-out style breakfast from 7-10am. Enjoy breakfast in your room or limited seating is available in the Nantucket Room, Patio, Beach, or Outdoor Pool.

Indoor Pool – Open 9am – 11pm with limited capacity. Our hot tub is currently closed.

Outdoor Pool – Open 9am – Dusk (Weather Permitting)

Family Fun Center & Fitness Center – Open 7am – 10pm with limited capacity.

Moby Dick Pub – Open Daily at 5pm with limited capacity.

Bellyfloppers Pool Bar – Open Daily at 11am with limited capacity.

Local Restaurants – Open with limited Indoor and Outdoor seating.

What we're doing to keep you safe...

Hygiene Protocols – We have added more sanitation stations for employees and guests throughout the property. Our staff is wearing PPE for your protection.


Staff Training and Screening – We have provided the most up to date information and training on policies and procedures on keeping both employees and guests safe. This includes daily self-screening at home including temperature and symptom checks.


Cleaning and Disinfecting – All Guestrooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized with hospital-grade disinfectants. We have removed many non-essential items from guestrooms. We have increased the frequency of sanitizing surfaces that are being touched, especially our entrance doors, lobby, door knobs, stair rails and counters.


Social Distancing – We expect guests to self-police themselves. As much as possible, we have made more space to allow for guests to maintain safe distances.

Answers to common questions...

Do guests need to wear masks?
We recommend the use of masks in any area that customers cannot maintain social distancing recommendations. Don’t worry, if you forgot or lost your favorite fashionable mask, we have disposable ones available complimentary! Bayside employees are required to wear masks and or are behind glass barriers.

Do we accept cash as payment?
We prefer credit cards, but yes, we do accept cash.

Will our bars be open?
Yes, Bellyfloppers Pool Bar is open daily at 11 am (weather permitting) and the Moby Dick Pub is open daily at 5 pm. Both bars are available with a light menu to be enjoyed on premises or for take-out.  Guests are welcome take their food or beverages and enjoy them anywhere on the property including the pool areas, patio, beach, fire pit, hospitality room and guestrooms. 

What hotel amenities can we use?
The Outdoor Pool, Fitness Center, Indoor Pool, Family Fun Center and Breakfast Room are open with limited capacity. We have made efforts to make more space to allow guests to social distance. We expect guests to be considerate and self-police themselves. We reserve the right to close any area that we feel is overcrowded or unsafe.

What should we do if we feel uncomfortable?

We understand that these are uncertain times and that people have different worries and concerns. We ask that customers are considerate to others and self-police themselves. We appreciate customers telling us their concerns and suggestions, and we will do out best to address them. If at any time a customer feels uncomfortable or changes their mind about staying, we will offer a full refund for the unused portion of their stay with no questions asked.

What is your cancellation policy? 

We have updated our Cancellation Policy to No Fees if you cancel by 6pm Day of Arrival when you Book Direct.  Please Note: If your reservation was booked through a 3rd party such as Expedia,,, Groupon, etc… You must change or cancel your reservation directly through their website and are subject to their terms and conditions.

I’m Traveling from out of state, can I still stay at the hotel?

Yes. Visitors from low risk States have no current restrictions.  To date this includes, CT, ME, NH, NJ, NY, VT.  Visitors from other higher-risk states are required to fill out a Massachusetts Travel Form on-line prior to arrival.
